Phat Phap temple was moved to the current location more than five years ago. Over time, the temple has undergone many changes to be more presentable and to meet our current needs. Some of the changes include: fixing and painting the main hall, dining hall, and kitchen; rebuilding the gate entrance and fences around the premises; planting new trees and shrubs throughout the ground; rebuilding the new pagoda roof; building classrooms & playground for Vietnamese Language class; building new library and rooms for monks; constructing the covered terrace, etc.

The entrance and the parking area in front of the main hall and dining hall were repaved. However, the front park was not paved but it is still being used as the parking area. During the rainy months, cars usually got stuck in the mud. Therefore, Abbot Tri Tinh has decided to redo the temple’s parking lot. In order to do the job right, the entire front park needs to be redesigned. There is only one way for the traffic entering and exiting of the temple to avoid congestion during the major events at the temple. The existing Garden will be moved to the front of the Sakyamuni Buddha statue.
